When you have made your selection, click on “checkout” You will then be asked to provide details so that we can process the order. Orders can only be sent to the billing address of the cardholder placing an order.
We try to process all orders, where possible, within 7 days. Please allow 3-5 days for delivery within the UK. 5-7 days for Europe and 7-14 days Rest of World. Where SURFACE mail is selected the delivery time will be much longer 2-5 weeks for Europe 6-12 weeks Rest of World.

At UWIC Press, we want you to receive your purchase in the same great condition it left us. We use only good quality, new materials for packaging and take great care to insure that happens. We too buy online and can assure you NO ONE takes better care of your purchases. In the unlikely event that an item should arrive damaged due to our negligence, simply return the item and a replacement will be mailed out within one working day, free of any charge.

For UK mainland deliveries, postage will be charged at cost PLUS a small fee for packaging and handling. The postage cost per item should be shown along side the item description, if it is not, please email UWIC Press for a quote. Items mailed within the UK will normally be sent first class delivery . Heavier items may be sent Parcel Force 48 hour and will normally be insured for the full replacement value of the item. If a buyer requires enhanced insurance, Special Delivery or an expedited service please email the above for a quote BEFORE placing your order. UWIC Press reserves the right to replace any of the above services, without notice, for a similar or enhanced service, where we deem it to be more appropriate.
Overseas & non-mainland UK:
For overseas and non-mainland UK deliveries, postage will be charged at cost PLUS a small fee for packaging and handling. Items mailed outside the UK will normally be sent Airmail and insured for £30.00. Heavier items may be sent Surface mail (if selected) and will normally be insured for £30.00. UWIC Press reserves the right to replace any of the above services, without notice, for a similar or enhanced service, where we deem it to be more appropriate. Enhanced insurance up to a value of £200.00 starts at just £1.00 extra and is highly recommended.
If you are not happy with your purchase, please return it to us within 7 days. We will make a refund, provided the goods are returned in perfect condition and in their original packaging. Please return the delivery note with the item and state the reason for the return. We do not refund postage costs unless an item arrives damaged due to our negligence. Items lost or damaged in the post that have been packed correctly are usually insured, we will fill out any necessary claims forms at the post office on your behalf and liaise with the correct Postal service to achieve a satisfactory outcome on your behalf. In the event that this becomes necessary please be aware a refund will be made as soon as we have clearance from the Royal mail/Parcel force, this can take several weeks but we will endeavour to keep you informed of all developments as appropriate.

From the point of receiving payment there is a seven working day cancellation period with the exception of a payment received within seven working days of the course commencing.

Completion of the enrolment form is an essential part of the enrolment process that will enable you to access the on-line course materials. Please complete the enrolment form in full and submit. A place on the course is only reserved when payment received and the subsequent enrolment form has been completed and submitted to firstname.lastname@example.org
Once enrolled the contract to provide this service is executed and no refunds will be issued after this time.
What happens after enrolment?
Once you have submitted your enrolment form Cardiff Met will:
• issue your Cardiff Met student number via email;
• issue your log in and password for Cardiff Met's virtual learning environment which will house the
• provide an interactive 10 week, on-line programme of learning;
• provide formal assessment, if desired, enabling successful students to gain academic credit;
• provide students with the opportunity to gain a Cardiff Met academic award upon
successful completion of assessment.
In accordance with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 you may cancel your enrolment up to the seventh working day from the date of the booking of a course (the " Cancellation Date "). No reason needs to be given and no penalty or cancellation fee will be due. You must notify Cardiff Met in writing on or before the Cancellation Date by letter, fax or e-mail using the contact details provided below.

All dealings between Cardiff Met and You shall be governed by these terms and conditions.
Nothing in these terms shall operate to exclude or limit Cardiff Met's liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence, any breach of Cardiff Met's statutory obligations or fraud.
No refund shall be given if You do not access the on-line materials through Cardiff Met's virtual learning environment, Blackboard. No refund shall be given and the full course fee shall remain payable should You fail the optional assessment provided by Cardiff Met and Cardiff Met makes no guarantee as to Your successfully passing the module assessment.
Cardiff Met reserves the right to cancel and/or amend course dates, times and contents. Every effort will be made to give You as much notice as possible and offer a reasonable alternative. If these are not satisfactory, Cardiff Met shall refund in full the price of the course. No further compensation will be given.
Cardiff Met shall not be liable to You whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise for any loss of profit; anticipated profits; revenues; anticipated savings; goodwill or business opportunity; or for any indirect or consequential loss or damage whatsoever or for any failure to comply with its obligations due to an event beyond Cardiff Met's reasonable control. Cardiff Met's aggregate liability to You whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise shall in no circumstances exceed the total sum paid or payable by You to Cardiff Met under the Contract.
You shall indemnify Cardiff Met for any loss or expenses caused as a result of providing inaccurate information to Cardiff Met, mistakes contained within Your enrolment or any personal injury or death caused by You not following Cardiff Met's guidelines correctly.
No other person or body who is not a party to the Contract has any rights under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 to enforce any terms of the Contract.
These terms and conditions shall be governed and construed in accordance with English and Welsh law and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English and Welsh Courts.
